The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship and the Family Empowerment Scholarship give families a choice of financial assistance toward private school tuition and fees, or helps with transportation costs for students to attend a public school different than the one they are assigned to. The Family Empowerment Scholarship transportation option is limited for the students with the greatest need.

Florida's school choice programs allow parents to choose the best educational setting—public or private—for their child. The McKay Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities is providing nearly 30,000 Florida students with special needs the opportunity to attend a participating private school in the 2021-2022 school year. The McKay Scholarship Program also offers parents the choice to transfer their eligible child to another public school.

Corbett & Katherine Hulett

Sacred Heart Catholic School is a wonderful school because students learn about God and also become academically prepared for High School.

All four of my own children attended Sacred Heart and were well-prepared for higher grades. All four of my children still currently have friends from Sacred Heart. Also, I’m glad I teach at a Catholic school because I feel like I can truly be myself, and express my love and zeal for God openly.

Mrs. Mayberry - 2nd grade

The thing I love about Sacred Heart is how Christ-centered we are.

We are always looking toward Christ to guide us in both our teaching and our interaction with students, parents, and peers.

Mrs. Hussey - 5th grade

My favorite things about Sacred Heart are the traditions.

We honor our military throughout the school year and I love it because I get to hear their stories, every Christmas each class gets to decorate a Christmas tree, and every Thanksgiving we invite parents to a feast, and much much more. These moments are great because it's an amazing bonding time between families and our school family.
